Textile supplier to the world’s leading hotel brands, Vision Support Services announced that they are to supply hospitality linen to voco Hotels by IHG.
voco Hotels is a brand new lifestyle and upscale hotel brand by the IHG group, launched in 2018. Beginning with a number of hotels in IHG’s Europe, Middle East, Asia and Africa the brand is primarily focused on creating a bold, distinctive identity, informal service style and thoughtful touches.
The brand aims to provide guests a quick and efficient check-in, tranquillity in the guest bedrooms which includes top quality bedding and amenities as well as bar and lounge spaces where guests can connect and relax.
With plans on opening more than 200 voco hotels across the world, in urban locations, across the next 10 years, Vision have been granted supply status for filled goods, bed linen and bath linen to existing and upcoming voco hotels across the world, excluding the USA.
Part of the IHG group, Vision has worked with the group and many of its existing brands to help fulfil and develop their own brand standards with a wide range of bespoke products.
Only this year, Vision was granted an approved supply of brand new Vision Eco Pure filled product range to IHG; with each product coming equipped with a Global Recycled Standard meaning each and every filled product is made from recycled materials.
Vision is committed and dedicated to creating some of the most ethically sourced, high quality products which are closely aligned with IHG’s sustainability and social impact goals.
Key account director for Vision’s hospitality division, Jacqui Hurst, said: “We’ve had a long-standing relationship with IHG and are delighted that they have chosen to continue working with us with their brand new voco hotel brand.
“Over the years, we have helped to define IHG’s brand standards and they’ve been impressed with our own corporate social responsibility promises. The voco hotel brand is dependable and hopes to make travel and hotels memorable. We hope our recent approved supplier status, and our assured textile products, go some way into helping them achieve this.”
Vision will also be supplying filled linen to another IHG brand – a brand new mid-scale level brand called avid™ Hotels, set to launch worldwide by 2020.
Described as a fresh, frank and fair hotel brand for the principled everyday traveller, avid™ champion everyday travel at a fair price. The brand opened its first hotel in 2018 in Oklahoma City and further hotels are planned across the US, Canada, Mexico and Germany; with 31 hotels planned in Germany alone over the next five years. All of the hotels across the avid™ brand will be new-builds, expected to have between 95 – 100 rooms and will have open, airy and modern interiors with an emphasis on communal spaces.
