The UKHA London Winter Ball

The 2019 event was held at the prestigious Chelsea Harbour Hotel on Saturday 14 December. Liana Sparks, chair of the London region UKHA reports on the event.

‘ ‘ “Another feather in the cap for the London committee who have worked tirelessly all year to ensure that our members had a year of great meetings and events. Our calendar year ended with a fabulous winter ball held at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel. A very big thank you to all our generous members for the amazing selection of raffle prizes and to all those who contributed financially ensuring that an exquisite night was had by all. The event started off with the customary bubbles while having their Christmas ball photos taken by Mark Taliana of Sound Stills Photography. Throughout the scrumptious dinner we were entertained by our fabulous singers provided by Karen Williams of The Event Chemist, followed by the disco which had us bopping the evening away until carriages at 1am.

Special recognition was given on the night to UKHA member Tzveta Ivanova from Red Carnation Hotel Collection, on her recent Hotel Cateys award for Housekeeper of the Year, and to the runners up Lisa Williams, KK Prabakaran, Adriana Milea, Rosanna Tripaldi and Laura Stimbiriene. It was great to be able to acknowledge and celebrate their success.”
