The future is looking bright

A little history can go a long way – especially with superb transformations

They’re counting down to May at De Vere Court, a Victorian mansion house on the edge of the Cotswolds, as a £1.3m investment in upgrading 53 of its Courtyard bedrooms is set for completion.

Albrighton Hall Hotel & Spa has opened, joining Radisson Hotel Group’s collection of
independent hotels

The newly designed rooms will offer a relaxed and contemporary design, and are complete with walk-in showers, luxury Penhaligon’s toiletries and smart TVs, with many featuring stunning views of the hotel’s acres of grounds. Most bedrooms are now fully refurbished, with previous phases including the addition of 55 new Mansion House rooms.

The 1853 Restaurant and Library Bar has also undergone recent refurbishment. Maintaining many of its original features, including oak-panelling, ornate archways and a grand fireplace, the restaurant has introduced booth and banquet style dining.

De Vere Tortworth Court is also home to a standalone Victorian Orangery, which is a popular wedding venue and a historic arboretum, described as one of the finest in the country due its variety of rare tree species.
