Sleepeezee raises £250,000 to support national and local charities
Over the past three years, market-leading bed manufacturer Sleepeezee has raised more than £250,000 for national and local charities as part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme.
One of the company’s main initiatives is the ongoing partnership it has with Travelodge. Each year
Sleepeezee makes a set contribution to the hotel chain’s nominated ‘charity of the year’ for every
Travelodge DreamerTM mattress sold. In 2018, Sleepeezee donated £20 from the sale of each of these
mattresses to Travelodge’s charity, Macmillan Cancer Support. This donation coupled with funds also
raised through internal events, has enabled Sleepeezee to raise in excess of £100,000 for Macmillan
Cancer Support to date.
Continuing its partnership with Travelodge in 2019, Sleepeezee is now supporting the hoteliers next
nominated charity, the British Heart Foundation. This will again see a contribution from the sale of each
Travelodge Dreamer™ made to this notable charity.
Sleepeezee is also proud to announce its support this year to worthy charity Crisis. Dedicated
to ending homelessness in the UK, Sleepeezee will be making a contribution to this charity
from every sale of its recently launched Perfectly British collection.

“With traditional family values at the heart of our business, we aim to support charities that
are important to our colleagues. To date, we have donated more than £100,000 to Macmillan
Cancer Support, and continue to support the British Heart Foundation through our work with
Travelodge. Further to this, we have worked with Gold Ribbon Appeal for Children’s Cancer and
Leukaemia Group and supported Ellenor Children’s Hospice, a local hospice that provides care for
families facing illness, in raising funds both in-house and on a company wide level.
At Sleepeezee, CSR is very much woven into our everyday life and everyone in the team loves to
be involved. From collecting food for our local food banks to larger scale initiatives such as our
ongoing partnerships, we are extremely proud to state that Sleepeezee’s charitable donations over
the past three years have totalled around a quarter of a million pounds. We’re excited to see what
the next milestone for Sleepeezee can be.”
