New event for housekeepers ‘Hospitality Expo’ launches April 2020
We’re delighted to announce that MEG Events, the team behind the successful CleanEx, LADAs and the Hotel Housekeeping Honours – the Triple H awards, along with Housekeeping Today – has gone into partnership with UK Housekeeping Association (UKHA) and are adding a whole new dimension to CleanEx 2020, the exhibition for textile, laundry and cleaning professionals.
Hospitality Expo will run alongside CleanEx 2020, taking a separate floor at the fantastic Ascot Racecourse venue in April next year.
The event will be aimed at procurement managers, general managers and housekeepers from hotels across the country. Attendees will benefit from meeting with exhibitors at Hospitality Expo as well as take part in workshops and seminars aimed at the hotel housekeeping industry.
Those visiting Hospitality Expo will also be able to walk the aisles at CleanEx 2020 and see what the leading industry suppliers there are exhibiting about their latest innovations, products and services. So those already exhibiting at CleanEx 2020 will have access to a whole new audience. For businesses who haven’t secured their space yet then get in touch with MEG Events immediately as we expect that the limited spaces still available will go quickly now this news has been announced.
Mark Gleed from MEG Events said: “ This is hot off the press information and MEG Events are working with the UKHA to finalise the details. We promised that CleanEx 2020 would be bigger and better than ever before, and with this news it shows that we really meant it. We’re excited to work on firming up the plans of how, by incorporating Hospitality Expo to the event, this really will be the UK Expo event for anyone connected to the textiles, laundry, cleaning and housekeeping industry.”
Lorraine Dale, national chairperson for the UKHA said: “We are very excited to introduce our first Hospitality Expo in conjunction with CleanEx 2020. This will be an exhilarating partnership with Tina and Mark Gleed from MEG Events. Our aim is to ensure our members are kept up to date at all times and to highlight housekeeping as a career of choice.”
Liana Sparks, UKHA London chairperson, added: “The Association has worked hard over the past few years to keep our members up to date and this exciting partnership will take us a step closer to keeping them at the forefront of the industry.”
Melanie Penn, UKHA committee member also said: “We look forward to working with the team behing CleanEx and the Triple H awards on this project. By joining up this will allow our UKHA members to have access to other suppliers within the industry whilst being able to attend a two-day exhibition.”
We look forward to sharing further information, including networking and sponsorship opportunities, as the plans for the event unfold. Watch this space and keep 26 and 27 April 2020 free in your diaries for a visit to Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
