New chairman of Pride of Britain Hotels announced
Dan Rose-Bristow has been named as the new chairman of Pride of Britain Hotels.
The collection of 50 luxury independently-owned British hotels has appointed Rose-Bristow, the joint managing director of The Torridon in Scotland, to take over from Kate Levin, former GM at The Capital, who has held the position for the last two years.
Rose-Bristow has been a board member of Pride of Britain Hotels for several years and more recently, has acted as vice chairman.
Rose-Bristow said: “With over 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, I am looking forward to the challenge ahead. Pride of Britain Hotels is a wonderful collection of hotels and it is an exciting time to be more involved, particularly as we’re heading towards capacity at 50 members.”
Peter Hancock, chief executive, Pride of Britain Hotels, for the past 18 years says: “We are delighted to welcome Dan Rose-Bristow as chairman. Dan has served on our non-executive board for several years and his experience in hospitality is perfectly suited to the role. I look forward to working closely with him over the next two years.”
