London’s finest turn out

The London & SE region’s members held their first event of 2026 in February at the Union Jack Club in Waterloo – and even a rainy Tuesday couldn’t deter some 70 people from turning up for an evening at the Central London military membership club which has HM the King as its patron.

Chair Gosia Oszkiel and the London committee were delighted by the response to an open discussion, inviting feedback and suggestions from those in attendance.

She says: “It was incredibly valuable to hear directly from you – the people of the Association – about what you would like to gain from your membership and how we can continue to evolve and grow together. Your voice matters, and your input helps shape the future of UKHA. Your engagement and contributions ensure we can continue to honour and build upon the incredible legacy that has been entrusted to us.”

The fun evening also included some delicious food, and a highlight of the night was a wonderful raffle, thanks to those who donated prizes. A packed calendar is planned for the rest of the year, starting with the next meeting – this time at The Army & Navy Club in Pall Mall on 10 March. RSVP to the committee if you wish to attend as names of every person are required for security clearance.

Then it’s on to the London & SE Business Lunch on Friday, 24 April – an event not to be missed at The Pan Pacific London.
