Pantone has announced that their Colour of the Year for 2024 is ‘Peach Fuzz’, a warm and welcoming shade which is set to bring a new found creativity and gentleness back to interior spaces.
Speaking of the new interior trend, Jennifer Porter of bespoke fitted furniture designers Neville Johnson says: “The ‘Peach Fuzz’ shade is the perfect balance between warm and cool and features a soft hint of femininity without being too in your face. Whether you want to make an on-trend statement or simply add a touch of colour, there are many options to choose from to achieve peak peach interiors.”
Porter is also predicting that other sorbet shades, including pistachio greens and pale lavenders, will also be popular choices. It’s certainly a change from 2023’s Pantone Colour of the Year, the vibrant Viva Magenta, while in 2022 the heralded shade was Very Peri, a blue edging towards purple.
