It’s the added touches that transform your space; from the deep blue jewel tones of a lampshade that brings a sense of elegance, to the warmer earth tones of a carefully placed cushion designed to encourage calm. Each element carries a purpose.

While architecture provides the foundation, it’s the thoughtfulness behind each piece of furniture that shapes the way people experience the room. The moment someone steps inside, these details influence the atmosphere while still meeting the practical needs of daily life.

Aspen, located in Consort Place near Canary Wharf, is a 65-storey tower within a mixed-use neighbourhood featuring apartments, a hotel, health facilities and dining venues. The Aspen Club, on levels 21 and 22, provides residents with spaces to both work and unwind.

Space Contract Furniture supported the project by developing supply solutions that translated HBA’s interior design into carefully crafted furniture across the club environments. From the welcoming reception area to the tranquil wellness lounge, each element was manufactured to honour the original vision while remaining practical for everyday use.

Bespoke marble tables were produced to match the design specification, while an engineered live-edge wine tasting table was developed for the private dining space. Meeting tables were created with integrated technology to support the business lounge, and cinema seating was designed in varying heights to complement the tiered layout of the screening room.

Further within the building, the Sky Lounge on the 63rd floor required custom sofas and tables designed to sit comfortably within its panoramic setting. Extending this attention to detail beyond the interiors, outdoor pieces were also chosen to harmonise with the overall finishes, ensuring a cohesive aesthetic throughout.

Through thoughtful material choices and carefully considered craftsmanship, the project reflects how well-designed, crafted furniture can enhance both atmosphere and longevity within contemporary hospitality environments.
