Housekeeper Wioletta Guzy and her beloved dog Cookie have walked their way to raising £670…

Housekeeping teams back Hospitality Action’s fundraiser
The 20,000 Mile Hospitality Challenge
Hundreds of hospitality staff will cycle, run, walk or jog the equivalent of the 19,491 miles of the entire UK coastline between Thursday – Monday 4 to 8 June.
They will be raising funds for a Hospitality Action appeal following the crisis Covid-19 has inflicted on the industry as the charity battles to support employees facing financial and emotional struggles and uncertainty about their futures.
Among those taking part in the sponsored event is Тzveta Ivanova, Executive Housekeeper at Kensington’s renowned five-star boutique hotel, The Milestone. Tzveta, The Catey’s ‘Housekeeper of the Year 2019’, is determined to run 20 miles for Hospitality Action even though she’s been kept very busy as part of the skeleton team at The Milestone.
The appeal is being supported by Champagne Taittinger, who have provided a superb reward for the top fundraiser and a chance to win one of 25 bottles of Taittinger Brut Réserve for all those raising over £150.
There’s still time to sign up and follow and share everything that’s happening with #Clockupthemiles and @hospaction on social media.
