Housekeeping role model honoured

Seymour Hotels of Jersey honoured two outstanding team members at the group’s annual Long Service Awards, including Filomena Nunes, who joined the Pomme d’Or in 1995 as a room attendant.

She now leads the housekeeping team with professionalism, warmth and an extraordinary ability to inspire and support others, playing a vital role in training and uniting a diverse team, also earning a finalist spot in the 2025 Hotel Housekeeping Honours. “Filomena is a true role model – an embodiment of loyalty, positivity and excellence,” says MD Matt Seymour.

Also honoured was Duncan Clark, celebrating an incredible 45 years, having started out as a commis wine waiter at the Hotel de la Plage. He now leads, the leading the Harbour Room Restaurant team.
