Eco-cleaning chemical brand, Delphis Eco has been appointed as an approved supplier for BM, the highly respected contract catering company.
Delphis Eco was a winner of the Queens Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development in 2022. It has a long-standing relationship with BM, the first contract caterer to achieve certification by Planet Mark on measuring and reducing its carbon footprint, and the search for materials of better quality, or those that deliver better environmental value, remains a key element of the business.
BM marketing director says: “Sustainability and ethics underpin everything we do, and we know it’s the same at Delphis Eco. Not only is this about the products themselves, which are highly effective yet non-toxic, but it’s also about the packaging and taking plastic out of the economy. Delphis’s products come packed in 100 per cent recycled plastic casing, so this is about being kind to the environment in many different ways.
“We wash over 100,000 pieces of crockery every single day, which is a lot of crockery! It needs to be scrupulously clean, and our customers expect nothing less. We have a mantra that ‘what gets measured gets done’ and we value products that are proven to be non-harmful to our planet, yet able to deliver the heavy lifting that we need within our catering business.”
Mark Jankovich, CEO of Delphis Eco says: “We share sustainability values with BM and have a mutual passion for making a real difference and taking ownership of the environmental issues that the world faces today.
“BM is highly progressive in its stance – it has aligned its sustainability activity to the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals, has led the sector with its Eat with the Earth in Mind ethos, and every year it sets measurable objectives to ensure continuous improvements in its sustainability performance.
The entire Delphis Eco range is made from plant-based renewable resources with no testing on animals.
