CLEAN launches origami art competition
Leading hospitality laundry provider CLEAN has launched a competition to celebrate next months’ Origami Day.
Using a dedicated hashtag, the award-winning linen supply company will be encouraging housekeeping and front-of-house teams to share pictures capturing their best origami art ahead of the celebratory day on Sunday, 11 November.
Richard Jones, customer service director of CLEAN, said: “We’re aware that many housekeepers and front-of-house staff delight their guests with their amazing origami creations, so it’s great to be able to launch a dedicated competition to formerly recognise their fantastic talents.”
He added: “Labelled as a mindful activity, origami has huge therapeutic benefits similar to yoga or meditation. It helps hand-eye co-ordination, fine motor skills and mental concentration. Many practitioners say it enhances focus and helps them be less critical of themselves.”
The chosen winner using #CLEANOrigami and tagging @CLEANLinenLtd will receive a luxurious Belgravia Fortnum and Mason hamper worth £500.
