All is revealed at The Langham

A new ITV1 six-part documentary series called ‘Inside The Langham: Britain’s First Grand Hotel is taking viewers behind the scenes of the iconic luxury property.

Filmed over 10 months and narrated by Dame Maureen Lipman, the series follows a range of events at the luxury West End hotel. It showcases the preparation needed for some very grand weddings, the hotel’s cookery school and culinary director Michel Roux, alongside planning celebrations to mark the property’s 160th anniversary.

But it’s what our readers no doubt think of as ‘the real work’ which will provide their most avid viewing, from cleaning chandeliers to fitting new beds, checking out a new terrace for a luxury suite or abseiling down the Victorian exterior to sort out illuminations.
