A clear vision
Vision Support Services is a leading supplier and distributor of specialist, luxury and performance textiles to key players within the global accommodation provider, hospitality, laundry, retail, government and public sector markets.
The company was set up in 2005 by entrepreneur Dan Wright to bring together a number of heritage-rich textile mills and turn them into successful, global entities. Today, Vision is a united, global business bringing together more than 200 years of manufacturing experience. We’ve been at the cutting edge of textiles since the 18th century and now have over 6,500 customers in 84 countries.
Experts in the textile industry; we deliver the right product into the right environment and we specialise in bed, bath and table linen to some of the world’s leading organisations and most prestigious names such as Hilton, IHG, John Lewis and Partners, CLEAN and Marriott – to name but a few. Today, we have a truly worldwide presence; we benefit from six global offices sourcing, supplying and distributing millions of products a year through our strategically placed sourcing hubs in India, China and Pakistan.
It’s these very hubs that are the key to our success; through leading our manufacturing and logistics processes, with key people on the ground in each region, to ensure a quality product combined with an exemplary service – ensuring we deliver, each and every time. Vision is a dynamic, fast growing and forward thinking company. Its head office and 60,000 sq ft warehouse in Blackburn, Lancashire controls Vision’s entire global network of stock holding and distribution facilities. We received Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status in November 2016 and have been able to offer a unique business proposition.
Through our retail, hospitality and laundry and divisions; we’re able to simultaneously target multiple market sectors with quality products. Our wide range of products including our specialist, luxury and performance ranges allows us, as a group, to cover the widest market penetration – unmatched by any other textile business in the UK.

At Vision, we are well aware of the social and environmental obligations we have to our suppliers, our customers, our staff and our planet. We are passionate about our business, our brands, our people and our products and we understand that our conduct has an impact on thousands of lives throughout global communities, which is why we factor corporate social responsibility and fair dealing into everything we do.
Our brands have been around for hundreds of years, and our commitment to our company and our people has always been the same; from William Liddell paying for his employee’s families’ education back in 1866 in Ireland to today, where, in Pakistan, we work with local schools and colleges to provide education to employees’ families and scholarships to underprivileged children.
We use verified and audited suppliers
We strive to ensure that all those in our supply chains comply with the Ethical Trading Initiative Base Code. We ensure all suppliers have the necessary production capability, staffing expertise and appropriate quality assurance, environmental and ethical sourcing measures.
We use cotton from trusted sources
As members of the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), we’ve created a fully accountable, traceable cotton system from start to finish. We ensure our cotton is not from prohibited sources and we will never knowingly source cotton from countries where forced labour is commonplace.
We do not use harmful chemicals in the production of our products
We require suppliers to communicate which chemicals are used during the production process down to mill level, working with suppliers to ensure carcinogenic dyes and chemicals are not used. We work closely with Greenpeace and their Detox campaign, which aims to eliminate harmful chemicals in textile production.
We abide by strict environmental obligations
All supply partners are encouraged to consider the impact of water use and discharge in the production process. We encourage our suppliers to continually work towards reducing greenhouse emissions.
Looking to the future, Vision’s goal is to improve the system and gain an EcoVadis gold standard by 2020 for our corporate social responsibility programme.
EcoVadis provides corporate social responsibility ratings of companies across a wide range of systems including environmental, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement impacts. Currently, Vision holds a silver standard. For more information or to find out how Vision Support Services can work with you please visit www.visionsupportservices.com or contact us on 01254 589550.
